Two oaks are well over 1,400 years old, one which is 28 feet in circumference, and is marked as the largest single stem oak in the state of South Carolina. Established in the early 1700's, the original home was destroyed by the Torries.  The third home presently occupies the original site. The doors of Toogoodoo Plantation have now opened briefly for one to walk into this idyllic setting.
